Last weekend saw a double whammy of wins for two of #TeamBearStrength's female athletes.
Ffion Eira 'the arm bar queen' Davies celebrates her double gold at the BBJ British Open
Our newest ambassador, MMA rising star, Ffion Eira Davies, beat Kat Hill for the crown to take home double gold at the BJJ British Open at the Coventry Sky Dome. This latest triumph will see the young athlete progress to the BJJ World Championships, which will take place at The Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, CA from 1st – 5th June 2016.
Meanwhile, #TeamBearStrength athlete, Kelly Friel, stepped out of the box and onto the platform to show some serious Bear Strength of her own by taking first place in the Female Rocket Division at TRAIN Manchester’s CrossFit competition, The Rainhill Trials.

Following her latest victory, Kelly will be back in the box and training for her next CrossFit competition, which will see her travel to the Emerald Isle to take on the nation’s top athletes at The 2016 Eleiko Irish Throwdown in Belfast on 4th and 5th June 2016.
